MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

Myofascial release addresses these issues by longer holds than typical massage (3-5 minutes per hold) and allows the tissue to respond to time under pressure. This allows the tissue to “melt” and move easily. The therapy can be both light or deep depending on what is being treated. It is a go-to therapy if you have tried other modalities and have had little to no success.

MEDICAL MASSAGE

Medical massage, also known as orthopedic massage is a result-driven therapy where the work is direct and intense but effective. The techniques are designed to treat specific injuries. I have developed a pelvis protocol as well as a neck and shoulder one. From trial and error, the techniques that I have included in my system are very effective and can provide immediate relief.

CUPPING
LYMPH DRAINING

This is a good warm-up if you’re focused on localized back work. Five minutes of cupping can be equivalent to 30 minutes of deep tissue work. There is also a Reflexology Upgrade for clients that haven’t experienced this type of work.

Using the Vodder method of lymph drainage, I help facilitate the movement of lymph. This therapy helps move the fluid out of the extremities. The lymph does not have a pump as blood does, rather it is moved by muscle contraction. This type of therapy is very light, but also very relaxing.
